Police in Nassau and Suffolk are cracking down on drunken driving this New Year's Eve.

Officials have added patrols and DWI checkpoints tomorrow night.

If you're drinking, you might want to try the LIRR. It is adding extra trains for the holiday, including 11 additional early afternoon eastbound trains from Penn Station and 20 added early evening westbound trains into Penn Station.

There will also be 18 additional early morning eastbound trains departing Penn Station between 12:35 a.m. and 4:19 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
