A Nassau County police officer is accused of stealing $200,000 from a fellow officer.
Prosecutors say Leonard Cagno told the victim that the money would be used as an investment into his media consulting company.
But instead, the Oakdale man is accused of using the cash to buy a vehicle, make home payments, pay off his credit card debt and more.
Cagno pleaded not guilty.
He has been suspended from the Nassau County Police Department without pay.
