Nassau police: BMW stolen from Roslyn man's garage; suspects still at large

Police say they later saw two unknown male suspects going through the BMW on the shoulder of the Long Island Expressway in Queens.

A Roslyn man's car was stolen from his garage early Monday while he was sleeping, authorities say.
Nassau police say the homeowner was awakened by the sound of his garage door opening at around 1:30 a.m. on Pine Drive North.
They say when he looked outside, he saw someone driving away in his 2019 BMW 540. Detectives say the stolen vehicle was followed by an Audi SUV.
Police say they later saw two unknown male suspects going through the BMW on the shoulder of the Long Island Expressway in Queens.
When officers approached, they say the suspects fled in the Audi westbound on the LIE.
