Nassau police are warning residents about tainted heroin in the county.
Authorities say packets of the drug labeled "24K" were laced with two powerful painkillers.
The heroin has been linked to five fatal overdoses in Nassau.
It may have been part of the same supply that caused at least 22 deaths in Pennsylvania.
