Two men have been arrested, accused of raping a juvenile in Roosevelt last year.
Nassau police say that Oscar Rivera Marquez, 20, and Ever Antonio Iraheta Mira, 29, contacted the female victim through social media to arrange a meeting on Sept. 6 and then had inappropriate contact with the victim at the Roosevelt Preserve at Brooklyn Avenue and Frederick Avenue.
Marquez and Mira are charged with rape and endangering the welfare of a child. Marquez was arraigned on Friday and Mira is set to be arraigned on Saturday at the First District Court in Hempstead.
