A Levittown teen has pleaded guilty to murder and burglary charges connected to the fatal beating of his neighbor in June 2024.

Prosecutors say Jose Olaya, then 16, broke through the second-floor window of Linda Levy’s home with a friend.

Olaya was accused of repeatedly hitting her with a heavy object after finding her asleep in a chair on the first floor.

The 69-year-old victim died two months later, according to authorities.

Prosecutors say Olaya faces 12 years in prison.
