Nassau County warming centers open for residents during frigid weather conditions
Several warming centers in Nassau County will be open to give residents a break from the freezing temperatures.

Nassau County will be open this weekend to give residents a break from the
freezing temperatures.
They will be located at Cantiague Park Administration Office in Hicksville, the conference room at the Wantaugh Administration Building and community room at the Mitchel Field Administration Building.
The facilities will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The MTA will also keep LIRR waiting rooms open 24/7 through Wednesday.
Experts recommend limiting your time in the cold and wearing plenty of layers when you do have to go outside.
Nassau County also has a homeless shelter hotline at 1-866-WARM-BED.
