There was Nassau County police presence at a neighborhood in Elmont Sunday night.

Police were investigating a house on the corner of Travis and Sweetman avenues since early in the afternoon.

A News 12 crew on the scene observed at least five police cars as well as a crime scene search unit and a K-9 truck.

Investigators had not revealed what prompted the police response to the scene as of Sunday night.
