Nassau corrections officers John Andujar, Joseph Donlon accused of perjury
Two Nassau Corrections officers are facing perjury charges stemming from a 2011 incident at an East Meadow jail.
Prosecutors say retired corrections officer John Andujar and current corrections officer Joseph Donlon lied to a grand jury about an alleged attack on Andujar by an inmate. Investigators say the fight between the two was mutual.
If convicted, they face up to seven years in prison.
Andujar and Donlon are due back in court on Jan. 13.
