Bronx drivers who park along Crosby Avenue say myriad problems with the Muni-Meters along the block are given them a parking nightmare.
Drivers say the machines don't always print their tickets, which could lead to fines from the Department of Transportation. Some say they're forced to walk blocks away to find a working meter and during this time, will sometimes be stopped by a traffic cop.
Drivers are outraged by the lack of repair to the machines, as they say the problem is frustrating and expensive, once their tickets start to pile up.
Other issues drivers claim to encounter include jammed coin slots, and card readers not working.
To deal with the persisting issue, some drivers say they double park, leave others in the car, or just walk.
