Nassau residents hauled their Christmas trees to Hempstead's Baldwin Park Sunday for Mulchfest, an annual event aimed at preserving the environment and beautifying homes.
The trees can either be shredded into mulch or are given to a herd Nigerian dwarf goats at the Norman J. Levy Park and Preserve in Merrick.
