A new round of Long Island Rail Road schedule changes will be coming in November that will give a service boost is for Port Washington riders.
The MTA says two more LIRR express trains will now leave from the branch during the morning rush. Two more trains will also run to Atlantic Terminal during the peak morning hours.
On the Ronkonkoma line, two night trains will be eliminated from the schedule. The same goes for two Babylon afternoon and evening trains.
Additionally, some dayside service will have more local stops.
The agency says all of the changes are meant to remedy the hiccups stemming from the opening of Grand Central Madison.
All of the changes will take effect Monday, Nov. 13. For a full list, the MTA advises riders to check its Train Time app or its website.
