The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will close the Colonial Road Bridge in Great Neck Monday.
The MTA says it plans to raze the bridge and replace it as part of a $45 million project to improve service on the Port Washington line.
Officials say the new span will include wider lanes and better sidewalks.
