MTA: Person fatally struck by train near Copiague LIRR station

Both tracks on the Babylon branch are operating, but with scattered delays and cancellations.

A person was fatally struck by a train near the Copiague station Monday, according to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
The MTA says it happened around 1:30 p.m.
Both tracks on the Babylon branch of the Long Island Rail Road are operating, but with scattered delays and cancellations.
