Mourners pay respects to FDNY firefighter Christopher Viviano

Viviano lived in Connecticut, but he grew up on Long Island. Family, friends and fellow firefighters came to his wake at Nolan Funeral Home.

Hundreds of mourners paid their respects in Northport on Sunday to New York City Firefighter Christopher Viviano, who died from COVID-19. He was 53 years old.
According to the FDNY, Viviano was a member of the fire department for 22 years and was an active member up until he died. He joined in 1999 working at Ladder 157 in Brooklyn and was a first responder on Sept. 11, 2001.
Viviano lived in Connecticut, but he grew up on Long Island. Family, friends and fellow firefighters came to his wake at Nolan Funeral Home. 
He was remembered as having a big smile and being fun to be around. Viviano is survived by his wife, three children, his parents and two brothers.
