News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Julian Seawright says Long Island will see mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures for Monday.
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear, A warmer overnight with temperatures only dropping to the low-30s with calm winds.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny. There could be some brief sprinkles of rain in the early morning but this clears out by mid-morning and it will be a sunny, dry, day with some clouds. Temperatures will break into the 50s. High of 50 and a low of 44.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. Showers will work their way into late Tuesday. Highs in the mid-50s, lows in the mid-40s.
WEDNESDAY: Moderate rain throughout the majority of the day. It is going to be very wet. Highs in the mid-50s, lows in the mid-30s.
THURSDAY: Rain could continue from Wednesday and breezy. Highs in the mid-40s, lows in the high-20s.
