Two frozen products sold at several Long Island supermarkets are being recalled.

MorningStar Farms voluntarily issued the recall because the food may contain plastic pieces, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The items in question are the 8 oz. Hot and Spicy Sausage Patties and the 10.5 oz. Buffalo Chik’n Nuggets.

The FDA says the plant-based products are sold at stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Costa Rica.

The affected batches have ‘better if used before’ dates of July 5 through July 8 2027 and the company says they should be thrown out.

Both items are sold at Walmart, Target, Stop & Shop and Wegmans, among other stores, according to the MorningStar Farms website.

People who purchased them can reach out for a full refund by calling Consumer Affairs Monday through Friday at 1-800-962-0120 or by texting 1-877-453-5837.
