More victims in alleged chimney scam come forward
Two men accused of targeting the elderly in a chimney repair scam will be arraigned on a new grand jury indictment Thursday.
Four more people have come forward claiming they were ripped off by 32-year-old Bruce Wimmer and 28-year-old Michael Windland.
Prosecutors say Wimmer and Windland convinced their victims to pay for repairs they did not need. The pair also allegedly stole jewelry, money and prescription pills while at peoples' homes.
Wimmer and Windland were initially arrested last month.
