On Long Island, North Shore High School in Glen Head was evacuated Wednesday morning. It happened after a discarded pressure cooker was found by a staff member who called police. The cooker was found outside by the cafeteria and was moved to another location on top of a recycling pile. It was discovered in that case that a science teacher threw out the pressure cooker.
