Mom arraigned in Leandra's Law case
A Rocky Point mom was arraigned Tuesday on charges she drove drunk with her teen daughter in the car.
Colleen Lopez was arraigned on a seven-count grand jury indictment. The charges include felony DWI under Leandra's law.
Investigators say the 47-year-old was pulled over on Patchogue-Yaphank Road in Yaphank in April for failing to stay in her lane.
Police say Lopez's 13-year-old daughter was in the car.
