News 12's own Nadgeena Jerome was crowned the winner of Miss Long Island 2022.
She will represent Long Island for the next year and compete at Miss New York USA in June.
Jerome will be promoting her platform of "Reverse the Stigma" and engaging in the Long Island community during her time with the crown.
While she's not doing pageants, Jerome freelances at News 12 as a digital producer.
