A Mineola man is accused of going on a fast food drive thru attack.

Police say Francis Ellis drove up to the Taco Bell drive thru on Peninsula Boulevard in Hempstead Saturday.

He allegedly jumped out of his car, lunged into the window, grabbed the worker and tried to take the cash register.

News 12 is told he got away with nothing and was arrested soon after.

Police say Ellis was also wanted for an unrelated domestic grand larceny incident.
