Another case of swine flu has been confirmed on Long Island, this time in the Miller Place Union Free School District.
According to a message posted on the district's Web site, a student has been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus and has been out of class since June 2. The district says it can't reveal the school that the student attends due to medical privacy laws.
Meanwhile, New York City's health department announced the deaths of three more people due to swine flu Wednesday. The new reported deaths bring the city's total to 12. There have been no reported deaths of the swine flu on Long Island.
