Commuters will have a chance to sound off on proposed LIRR fare hikes Wednesday.
The MTA is proposing raising ticket prices by 4 percent over the next two years. Fares will go up 2 percent in March and another 2 percent in March of 2017 if the plan is approved.
A public hearing over the proposed hike will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Melville at 5 p.m.
Anyone that can't attend the meeting can videotape their comments to be reviewed by the MTA board.
Cameras will be set up at the Hicksville train station Wednesday and next Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
