The founder of the "Me Too movement" was on Long Island Sunday afternoon.
Tarana Burke headlined the public forum at Stony Brook University.
The goal of the event was to get Long Island businesses, government and student leaders to implement reforms to stop sexual misconduct.
"I believe that one of the problems for these large institutions to work around sexual violence is because they don't believe sexual survivors have solutions.  They don't invest in survivors in our leadership.  They don't listen to us when we say we know what we need," says Burke.
