A Mastic Beach man pleaded guilty to manslaughter Thursday for using his minivan to plow into two men on his brother's stolen dirt bike in June 2017.
Christopher Bouchard, driving a Honda Odyssey, chased and rear-ended the bike -- killing 19-year-old Shirley resident Keenan King and 20-year-old North Bellport residents Anthony Holmes-Garriques.
As part of a plea deal, the judge said Bouchard will be sentenced to 3 ½ to 10 ½ years in prison. If the case had gone to trial, he would have faced up to 15 years in prison.
The families of the two men were upset with the agreement, saying the sentence was too light.
"I agreed to it because I didn't want him to walk...I want him to suffer like I have to suffer every day," said Lina Garriques.
Bouchard's official sentencing will take place in October.
