An East End condo complex was destroyed by a fire Wednesday in Westhampton Beach.
Firefighters from 12 departments worked to put out the flames that ripped through the Sandpiper Condos on Dune Road.
Westhampton Fire Department Assistant Chief Billy Dalton says the grass surrounding the complex and the structure itself caught fire at the same time. The cause of the blaze has not been determined yet.
No one was injured.
News 12 was told that the complex mostly houses seasonal residents and was empty when the fire began. The manager of the condos lives in the complex year-round and has now been displaced.
Dalton says crews will be working overnight to put out hotspots.
