STORM WATCH

State of emergency declared with storm expected to bring between 4- 8 inches of snow to Long Island

Police say a Massapequa man was arrested and charged with drunken driving over the weekend - just hours after a similar charge for operating a boat while intoxicated.
Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice says 20-year-old Eric Nelson was arrested Saturday while operating a motor boat on Massapequa Cove. He was released Sunday after posting $5,000 bail.
Authorities say Nelson was then arrested hours later for allegedly driving drunk along Washington Avenue in Seaford.
Nelson is now being held on $25,000 bail.
Prosecutors say Nelson was already on probation following a DWI arrest in 2008.
