A Manorville contractor accused of killing two prostitutes has been found guilty.
The jury found John Bittrolff guilty on two counts of murder in the second degree.
Prosecutors say DNA evidence linked Bittrolff to the murders of two prostitutes, Colleen McNamee and Rita Tangredi, in the early 1990s. Bittrolff maintained his innocence.
The jury had been deadlocked since last Tuesday.
Bittrolff will be sentenced on Sept. 12 and is expected to face 50 years to life in prison.
