Another associate of indicted restaurateur Harenda Singh has resigned from the Mangano administration.
Kamlesh Mehta was Nassau's director of business and economic development.
Newsday says he got his county job despite a home foreclosure, two bankruptcies and a state tax warrant against his private business.
The county would not comment on how Mehta was appointed to his position or why he stepped down.
