The man accused of trying to board a plane at MacArthur Airport with explosives Thursday was ordered held without bail.
Steven Noble?s attorney said his client wasn?t trying to blow anything up and did not intend to hurt anyone. Hundreds were evacuated from MacArthur after the devices were discovered by airport personnel.
Noble admitted to having a folding knife, explosives, fireworks, pin loads and a circuit board in his bags when he tried to board the plane to Las Vegas. He said he made them himself.
Noble said he forgot he had the items in his bags. He is charged with carrying a weapon or explosive device on an aircraft and is due back in court Oct. 30.
