Police have released pictures of a man wanted for threatening and beating another man in Smithtown in June.

Police say a delivery driver was stopped on Fourth Avenue when he was approached by the man.

News 12 has been told the two previously had a road rage dispute.

The suspect then struck the delivery driver multiple times in the head and then displayed what appeared to be a knife.

Detectives say the man then got back into his car and sped off.

The suspect was possibly driving a blue Subaru, according to police. The victim declined medical attention.
