Police say a man was stabbed during a violent robbery in Elmont.
According to police, four men ambushed the victim around 3 a.m. outside a café on Elmont Road.
Police say when the man refused to hand over his belongings, he was stabbed in the chest. The suspects ran off.
The victim is expected to recover.
