Man shot, injured in Hempstead
Nassau police are trying to track down the gunman who shot and injured a man in Hempstead. Investigators say the shooting happened at around 10 p.m. Saturday outside of a house on Henry Street.

Nassau police are trying to track down the gunman who shot and injured a man in Hempstead.
Investigators say the shooting happened at around 10 p.m. Saturday outside of a house on Henry Street.
The 24-year-old victim, whose identity hasn't been released, was shot in the chest. He was hospitalized and is listed in stable condition.
It's unclear what motivated the shooting.
