A man was rescued in Orient Friday night.
The U.S. Coast Guard received a call about a 50-foot boat taking on water in the Long Island Sound.
When they arrived a good Samaritan was already on scene trying to help.
The man was finally pulled from his boat, unharmed at around 4 a.m.
