A man on a go-kart was hit by an SUV in Shirley on Thanksgiving.
The accident occurred on William Floyd Parkway just before 7 p.m.
Police say an unidentified 25-year-old man was hit while crossing through an intersection at East Flintlock Drive.
The victim was airlifted to the hospital and given several summonses.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt and stayed at the scene.
