Police say a driver was killed after hitting a car backing out of a Brentwood driveway.
Police say Ronald Viscusi, 63, of Shirley, was driving along Islip Avenue when he slammed into the back of a car at 8:30 p.m. Police say Viscusi then swerved into a tree.
The young woman backing out of the driveway was not seriously hurt.
There are no charges at this time.
