A Lindenhurst man attempting to sell concert tickets through social media was robbed at knife point early Tuesday morning, police say.
Arick McArthur says the incident took place in front of his Inlet Drive home at around 1 a.m.
He says four strangers he had met on Instagram showed up to buy the tickets and convinced him to get into their car to make the transaction.
When he tried to get out, he says the men attacked him.
"All of a sudden, I turn around and I got punched three times," he told News 12. McArthur says the men then took off his pants and robbed him of $3,000 worth of concert tickets, his wallet and his cellphone.
McArthur says his most severe injuries are from road rash after he jumped out of a window of the moving car.
Investigators say the robbery involved four men and a woman in a black Dodge Magnum with yellow New York license plates.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
