State park police say a man died after he was pulled from the pool at the Jones Beach West Bathhouse on the Fourth of July.
The man was pulled from the pool shortly after 5 p.m. Lifeguards immediately began CPR until EMTs arrived.
Police say they believe the man suffered a heart attack.
The man's identity has not been released, but officials say he was a 58-year-old male from Manhattan.
