A Sound Beach man was killed in a single-car crash Saturday morning. Suffolk police say 49-year-old Richard Cambria was driving on Islip Drive in Sound Beach when his pickup truck veered off the roadway

A Sound Beach man was killed in a single-car crash Saturday morning.
Suffolk police say 49-year-old Richard Cambria was driving on Islip Drive in Sound Beach when his pickup truck veered off the roadway and struck a telephone pole and retaining wall.
Cambria was taken to Mather Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Online reports say that Cambria was a beloved security guard at Shoreham-Wading River High School.
