A Mastic man is facing charges in a deadly hit-and-run crash.

As News 12 has reported, police say Luke Figat was trying to cross Sunrise Highway in Patchogue Saturday morning when he was struck by three separate vehicles. He was pronounced dead.

Investigators say that one of the cars left the scene. The driver of that vehicle has been identified as 29-year-old Eduardo Aponte.

Aponte was eventually arrested and was due to be arraigned in court on Sunday.
