A man accused of stabbing another man Saturday at a park in in Uniondale is facing charges for assault and weapons possession.
Police say Ronaldo Tomilson, 23, got into an argument with the victim and punched him in the face around 12:45 p.m. He then took out a box cutter, began stabbing the man in the back and slashed his ear.
The victim tried to flee the area, but Tomilson continued to pursue him with the weapon. Police soon arrived at the scene and located the two on Uniondale Avenue.
Both men were hospitalized for treatment. Tomilson is expected to face a judge on Sunday.
