A man accused of leaving his 3-year-old daughter in a car at a Valley Stream parking lot is facing child endangerment charges, according to police.
Authorities say they received a report Monday night about the unattended child in the Walmart lot on Green Acres Road.
Officers arrested the girl’s father, 30-year-old Triston Evans, after conducting an investigation at the scene.
Police have not stated how long the child was alone.
Authorities say she was released to a family member.
