An Old Brookville man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer in Manhasset.
Frank Filipelli, 31, is accused of punching a Nassau County police officer in the face, and trying to bite him.
Investigators say they were called to Green's Pub on Plandome Road to look into a disturbance at around 10:45 p.m. last night.
That is when police say Fillipelli ran from the scene and struggled with officers.
Fillipelli is expected to be in court later today.
