Malverne school officials are taking action after water in the district tested positive for lead.
The toxin was found in four bathroom sinks and one water fountain within the district.
Officials have replaced the pipes and is awaiting results from a new round of testing.
As News 12 has reported, lead has also been found in water fountains at schools in Commack, East Northport and Valley Stream.
