The Fourth of July is still days away, but the fireworks displays have already started.
The first of several fireworks shows by Macy’s was held in the skies over Coney Island Monday night.
Macy's is spreading out its annual fireworks display throughout the five boroughs over the course of the week.
The goal is to allow New Yorkers to enjoy the show without creating big crowds.
The full show will air on Saturday night on NBC at 8 p.m.
