A Lynbrook man will spend seven months behind bars for posing as an attorney and stealing more than $100,000 from homeowners.

Caesar Roberts was also ordered to pay back the victims.

According to police, Roberts was hired to help with their home foreclosures even though he was unlicensed.

Prosecutors say Roberts spent the money on travel and personal expenses.
