Lucas Strada, 33, pleads not guilty to possessing, intending to sell steroids out of Centereach apartment
A 33-year-old has pleaded not guilty to possessing and intending to sell anabolic steroids out of his Centereach apartment.
Investigators say they recovered a large amount of steroids, lab equipment, $60,000 in cash and a loaded handgun during a raid on Lucas Strada's apartment on Horseblock Road. They say he was selling the steroids locally and online through Paypal.
Strada resides in Colorado and was only living on Long Island temporarily, according to attorney Eric Naiburg. He adds that his client was living with a friend and that the materials may have belonged to the other person.
Strada is being held on $500,000 cash bond since he is considered a flight risk.
