Residents in Huntington say some of the great places to go to stay cool are the Huntington pool, the Sgt. Tuozzolo Spray Park and the cooling center at the Dix Hills Ice Rink.

Residents in Huntington say some of the great places to go to stay cool are the Huntington pool, the Sgt. Tuozzolo Spray Park and the cooling center at the Dix Hills Ice Rink.
Health officials say stay hydrated, stay in the shade if possible and try not to do everything strenuous.
They say signs of heat exhaustion are heavy sweating, nausea, vomiting and dizziness.
