Long Islander sees Olympic handshake as good first step
Korean-Americans on Long Island are weighing in on the handshake between South Korea's president and the sister of North Korea's dictator Kim Jong-Un.
Timothy Lee, of Jericho, says he's been monitoring developments from the Olympics by watching Korean news reports. Lee believes the handshake could be a good first step.
"Maybe sports could set aside the differences and then eventually could be a stepping stone to work out some differences," says Lee.
Jong-Un's sister is the first member of her family to visit South Korea since the Korean War.
